SYNFLUO 172VF is a unique combination of micronized
synthetic wax and PTFE.
SYNFLUO 172VF has been formulated to impart
a combination of optimum abrasion resistance and hardness
usually associated with synthetic wax along with the
lubricity (slip) provided by PTFE. Each of the components
are designed to provide properties for maximum performance
when incorporated into printing inks, paints and coatings.
SYNFLUO 172VF can be easily mixed into all ink
and coating formulations by means of standard dispersion
techniques and equipment. The particle size distribution
is carefully controlled using microtrac laser analysis.
Optimum properties are usually achieved by adding 0.2
- 2.0% by weight. The amount required will vary depending
on the application and end use requirements.
SYNFLUO 172VF is recommended for use in the
following areas: Web Offset- heat set, sheet fed (quick
set), UV curing printing inks; can coatings, coil coatings,
industrial paints, powder coatings and UV overprint
varnishes.
