SUPERSLIP 6515 and 6520 are unique combinations
of wax polymers designed to impart maximum lubricity and
blocking resistance in printing ink, paint or coating
applications.
SUPERSLIP 6515 and 6520 are finely micronized
to a NPIRI grind of 2.0-3.0 for ease of dispersion.
A finer version SUPERSLIP 6515XF is available
with a NPIRI grind of 2.0 maximum.
SUPERSLIP 6515 and 6520 were developed
to meet the needs of the formulator requiring excellent
lubricity properties. SUPERSLIP 6515 and 6520
will impart excellent "feel" when incorporated into
wood or plastic coatings while maintaining excellent
blocking and abrasion resistance. SUPERSLIP 6515
and 6520 will exhibit excellent solvent resistance
and will not effect drying rates of air dry systems.
Unlike other wax additives for wood finishes, SUPERSLIP
6515 and 6520 can be easily incorporated
using dispersion equipment without the need for grinding.
Optimum usage levels range between 0.5 and 3.0 percent
based on total formula weight.
