MICROSPERSION 6550 is a unique dispersion of a
specialized micronized wax which has been dispersed at
40%. No dispersants have been used in order to provide
a trouble free, pourable wax dispersion. MICROSPERSION
6550 allows the formulator to use highly efficient
micronized waxes in liquid form.
MICROSPERSION 6550 incorporates a unique combination
of wax polymers in order to provide blocking resistance
and maximum lubricity in aqueous paint or coating applications.
Unique polymer chemistry is used in formulating MICROSPERSION
6550 in order to provide a highly efficient wax
at low levels to preserve gloss while providing uniform
gloss reduction at higher usage levels with very good
burnish resistance.
MICROSPERSION 6550 will provide optimum levels
of scratch and mar resistance along with excellent slip
and mobility in waterborne furniture coatings. Additions
of 1.0 - 6.0% (by weight) of MICROSPERSION 6550
will provide optimum performance.
MICROSPERSION 6550 is especially recommended
for use in wood finishes (interior or exterior) and
will stay in suspension in high or low gloss systems.
MICROSPERSION 6550 is also suggested as a non-blocking,
high slip wax for water borne printing inks and topcoats.
