Microspersion® 611-50

MICROSPERSION 611-50 is a unique micronized polyethylene wax which has been formulated into an aqueous wax dispersion at 50% wax solids. MICROSPERSION 611-50 allows the formulator to use a highly efficient micronized wax in liquid form.

MICROSPERSION 611-50 has been formulated to provide optimum rub resistance, antiblocking and slip properties when incorporated into aqueous printing inks, paints and coatings. The unique properties of MICROSPERSION 611-50 eliminate the problem of "flotation" or "defoamer kickout" which is common when using other types of wax dispersions.

Additions of 1.0% - 4.0%* of MICROSPERSION 611-50 will provide optimum performance.

MICROSPERSION 611-50 is recommended for use in the following areas:

Water reducible flexographic (paper or film), packaging gravure (paper or carton) and publication gravure printing inks; water reducible wood finishes, coil coatings, industrial finishes and latex paints; aqueous coatings for offset printed folded cartons of paper (Dahlgren, Epic, etc.); aqueous overprint varnishes.
