Microspersion 504E

MICROSPERSION 504E is a unique zero VOC large particle sized polyethylene emulsion formulated to 40% wax solids to impart optimum rub, mar and scratch resistance in aqueous coatings and printing inks. This modified polyethylene provides optimum surface protection while maintaining excellent gloss and film clarity.

MICROSPERSION 504E has been found to be especially useful as a surface modifier in high gloss OPV's where traditional wax emulsions contribute to haze and softness of film. As a liquid wax additive, the MICROSPERSION 504E incorporates readily with simple blending or high-speed mixing equipment. Levels of addition range from 3.0%-6.0% of total formulation weight. Usage levels are determined by formula solids, vehicle type and end use requirements.

MICROSPERSION 504E will remain in a stable suspension in all aqueous coating and printing ink vehicles. For best results, it is recommended that MICROSPERSION 504E be introduced during the final phase of the formula.

MICROSPERSION 504E is recommended for use in the following applications: Water based flexographic and gravure printing inks, aqueous OPV's, trade sales and industrial wood finishes, can coatings and many industrial product finishes.
