Microspersion®
31-35
MICROSPERSION 31-35 is a micronized polypropylene
wax formulated into an aqueous wax dispersion at 35% solids.
The particle size is carefully controlled to provide a
uniform matte effect in water borne printing inks, paints
and coatings. MICROSPERSION 31-35 allows the formulator
to use highly efficient micronized wax in liquid form
with only mild agitation needed during incorporation.
MICROSPERSION 31-35 uses a unique polypropylene
polymer which allows it to impart non-slip properties
when added to flexographic printing inks and paints.
MICROSPERSION 31-35 will also provide excellent
scuff and abrasion resistance.
MICROSPERSION 31-35 is recommended for use in
water reducible industrial paints, lacquers and coatings
(e.g. wood, metal, or sprayed), as well as water reducible
flexographic printing inks (paper or film). The level
of addition depends on the gloss control desired. Usually,
adding 4%-10% based upon total formula weight of MICROSPERSION
31-35 will give a matte/satin finish.
