MICROSPERSION 114 is a unique dispersion of finely
micronized synthetic wax which has been modified for use
in aqueous systems and then dispersed at 25% into an acrylic
vehicle. No dispersants have been used in order to provide
a trouble free, pourable wax dispersion. MICROSPERSION
114 allows the formulator to use highly efficient
micronized waxes in liquid form.
MICROSPERSION 114 is an economical wax dispersion
which has been formulated to provide scratch resistance,
anti-blocking and lubricity when incorporated into aqueous
systems. The unique properties of MICROSPERSION 114
eliminate the problem of "flotation" or "defoamer kickout"
which is common when using other types of waxes.
Additions of 2.0 - 8.0% (by weight) of MICROSPERSION
114 will provide optimum performance.
MICROSPERSION 114 is recommended for use in
the following areas:
Water reducible flexographic (paper or film), packaging
gravure (paper or carton) and publication gravure printing
inks; water reducible wood finishes, coil coatings,
industrial finishes and latex paints; aqueous coatings
for offset printed folding cartons or paper (Dahlgren,
Epic, etc.); aqueous overprint varnishes.
