Fluo 750TX

FLUO 750TX is a high quality micronized polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) which has been developed for use in applications where a more controlled texture (structure) and gloss control are required. FLUO 750TX is micronized and blended to ensure batch to batch uniformity. The particle distribution is carefully controlled using Laser Diffraction Analysis in order to produce a consistent texturing effect. FLUO 750TX is a lower strength version of Fluo 850TX which provides more formulation flexibility as well as efficient and consistent texture in powder coatings.

APPLICATION:

FLUO 750TX is recommended for use in all types of powder coatings. The amount of addition will depend on the texture required. Usually 1.0 - 1.5%* addition levels will produce a uniform texture surface.

INCORPORATION:

FLUO 750TX is generally added into the pre-mix in powder coatings. Optimum mixing can be achieved with a dry blend in a part of the binder before extrusion.
