Fluo 300XF

FLUO 300XF is a micronized polytetrafluoroethylene which has been developed for use in areas where excellent heat resistance, slip and rub resistance are required. FLUO 300XF has been specially processed to a 1.0-2.0 NPIRI grind gauge reading to allow for easy dispersion into all types of inks and coatings. Due to its fine particle size, FLUO 300XF can either be compounded or added directly to most ink and coatings systems with conventional mixing equipment.

FLUO 300XF is recommended for use as an additive at 1/2-1% with micronized waxes or compounds for improvement in slip and rub properties. For extreme requirements

FLUO 300XF can be used at 1-2% loadings for optimum properties.

FLUO 300XF will be most effective in web offset, letterpress, flexo, UV and gravure inks as well as most paints and coatings.

At temperatures above 600°F, some polymer fumes may be emitted due to oxidation of the fluorocarbon polymer. Therefore, smoking should not be permitted when working with this material.
