AQUASYNFLUO 176VF is a special grade of micronized
synthetic waxes and PTFE which have been formulated for
easy dispersion into water based systems. AQUA SYNFLUO
176VF will provide abrasion/scratch resistance as well
as lubricity when added to water reducible printing inks,
paints or coatings. Each of the components are designed
to provide unique properties for maximum surface protection.
AQUASYNFLUO 176VF can be readily incorporated
into all ink and coating formulations by means of high
speed dispersion equipment. The particle size distribution
is carefully controlled using laser diffraction analysis
instrumentation.
Optimum performance properties can be achieved by adding
0.5 - 2.0% by weight. The amount required will vary
depending upon the application and end use requirements.
AQUASYNFLUO 176VF is recommended for use in
the following areas: flexographic, packaging and publication
gravure printing inks, water reducible overprint varnishes,
can coatings, coil coatings and industrial paints.
