AQUA SUPERSLIP 6550 is a unique combination of
wax polymers designed to impart maximum lubricity and
blocking resistance in aqueous paint or coating applications.
AQUA SUPERSLIP 6550 is specifically formulated for easy
incorporation into aqueous systems by means of high speed
dispersion equipment.
AQUA SUPERSLIP 6550 is finely micronized to
a controlled Hegman grind of 6.0-6.5 (NPIRI 2.0-3.5)
particle size.
AQUA SUPERSLIP 6550 has been developed to meet
the needs of the formulator requiring excellent lubricity
properties in waterborne systems without incurring the
expense or settling characteristics of PTFE. Unique
polymer chemistry is used in formulating AQUA SUPERSLIP
6550 to provide clarity in topcoats and lacquers.
AQUA SUPERSLIP 6550 will provide optimum levels
of scuff and mar resistance along with excellent slip
and mobility in waterborne furniture coatings.
AQUA SUPERSLIP 6550 is a homogeneous combination
of waxes formulated to eliminate separation or flotation
in low viscosity systems. Optimum usage levels range
between 0.5 and 3.0 percent based on total formula weight.
