AquaBead 270E is an anionic/nonionic wax emulsion
specifically formulated for aqueous exterior stains,
sealers, paints and coatings. Comprised of a combination
of paraffin and polyolefin waxes, AquaBead 270E
provides excellent initial and long lasting water beading
as well as weather and moisture resistance.
AquaBead 270E has a unique emulsification system
which contributes to its immediate hydrophobicity. Levels
of addition range from 3.0% to 10.0% of total formula
weight. Usage levels are determined by formula solids,
vehicle type and end use requirements.
AquaBead 270E is ideally suited for use in latex
emulsion systems and can be easily stirred in using
any type of mixing equipment.
AquaBead 270E will remain in a stable suspension
in latex emulsion based paints or stains.
APPLICATIONS:
All types of aqueous paints, stains and coatings applied
over wood, metal, masonry or leather. Water reducible
flexographic and gravure printing inks and coatings.
