MICROSLIP
products are micronized Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE)
powders. These polymers are characterized by their excellent
heat resistance and lubricity. MICROSLIP products
provide superior flow properties and enhance the feel
of the cosmetic formulation. Particle size distribution
is carefully controlled by Microtrac laser diffraction
analysis.
MICROSLIP
PTFEs are particularly useful in color cosmetics
and can be utilized as a bulking agent to increase the
volume of an applied cosmetic. MICROSLIP products
will reduce the oily feel associated with creams and
lotions. These products will also act as an SPF enhancer
in sunscreen applications.
