Which
Product should I use?
The
best way to choose a product is to consult the technical
data sheets in the website. Many of the products are
suitable for similar applications. They vary however
on the different feel and binding properties that they
provide as well as price. We suggest the formulator
choose two different types of polymers in order to feel
for themselves the different properties the product
types provide.

Are
these melting type waxes?
These
waxes are micronized to a fine powder. They are not
intended to be melted into any system. Instead they
are intended to be dispersed into your formula. Most
of the polymers used have melt points much higher than
normal processing temperatures and will not be affected.

Are
these products used in Lipsticks?
The
Micropoly and Microsilk waxes are used in lipstick formulas.
However they are not used to replace the lower melt
point waxes that are melted into the system. You can
increase the stick strength of your formula by dispersing
1.5% of the micronized wax into the oil phase.
