Our History

Micro Powders, Inc. founded by James Strauss, has been developing and manufacturing innovative specialty micronized waxes, wax dispersions and emulsions since 1971. From our humble beginnings, Micro Powders has become the worldwide leader in wax technology proudly offering more than 150 unique and innovative products. Specifically created for the paint, printing ink and coatings markets, these wax additives help formulators develop improved and advanced surface coatings.
